BD-010: Cement Working Group
At a Standards Australia BD-010 committee meeting held on 20 July 2010 the Nominating Organizations, through their representatives, agreed to further amend the Standard to lower the carbon emissions attributed to cement and concrete. To this aim there was an agreement on forming a Working Group in order to continue the discussion and reach agreement on the optimum amount of mineral additions in General purpose cement.
Standards Australia has convened a Working Group made up of technical representatives of the BD-010 Nominating Organisations.
The only compositional variable for the purposes of this Working Group will be the substitution of portland cement by limestone.
