Overview

Our Annual Breakfast event will focus on major transport and infrastructure projects based in Sydney and New South Wales, featuring Scott Powell, who is Aurecon's Regional Director for New South Wales. He has extensive experience in delivery of infrastructure projects including road, rail and bridge infrastructure.

He is being supported by Huber Madrio, Bridge Engineer (Durability) within Technical and Project Services Division of Roads and Maritime Services.  His major work has been with the use of Self Compacting Concrete on some of the major NSW infrastructure projects.

Scott Powell is Aurecon's Regional Director for New South Wales. He has extensive experience in delivery of infrastructure projects including road, rail and bridge infrastructure.  Scott will talk about the future of engineering, including how digital is impacting the delivery of major infrastructure projects.

Huber Madrio - Bridge Engineer (Durability), Roads and Maritime Services, NSW

Huber Madrio is a Bridge Engineer (Durability) within Technical and Project Services Division of Roads and Maritime Services.  Huber’s presentation will focus on Roads and Maritime experience in the application of self-compacting concrete and high-workability concrete.  He will look at the challenges and benefits where these technologies were utilised in Major Infrastructure Projects through Case Studies of rehabilitation and new construction projects.
