Lessons Learnt - Design, Detailing and Construction Management

Proper use of concrete, carefully designed, detailed and constructed, yields aesthetically pleasing and safe structures. Unfortunately, most of the concrete failures which occur in Australia and in the world are avoidable. But each and every project provides valuable lessons which act as guidance for safer structures.

This technical evening, with lessons-learnt examples, highlights the importance of the various stages of concrete design, detailing and construction. It will also provide opportunities to the attendees to share their valuable lesson-learnt experiences with the audience during the Q&A discussion.

Three eminent speakers who have spent more than thirty years as engineers and construction managers will be sharing their valuable experiences with lesson-learnt examples with some iconic Victorian projects.
