The new $100m Adelaide Botanic High School
will provide a vertical learning environment for years 8 to 12 students in a unique parklands setting. The school will cater for 1250 students who will inhabit a contemporary Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) learning environment. The new school will include a re-purposed, seismically upgraded 6-storey building, new 8 level post-tensioned building, with numerous transfer structures between the two buildings within an enclosed atrium. Please join design engineer KBR and builder Lendlease for a tour of the construction site with discussion around key challenges and features of the project.

This site tour has kindly been arranged by KBR and Lendlease in conjunction with the Concrete Institute of Australia


Meeting point is at the site office on Frome Road
Please arrive 15 minutes prior in order for groups to be organised ready for a 4.30pm start.

Personal protective equipment is a must.

Hardhat, steel cap boots, high-vis, safety glasses and gloves (gloves and some glasses available on site)
