The Institute realises the importance of being able to engage with students who are the future lifeblood of the concrete industry. Being able to provide services that are valued by students is at the forefront of the Concrete Institute's agenda.
As such the Institute is providing student Members with complimentary Membership - Membership that would ordinarily cost in excess of $250 AUD.
Two key aspects of complimentary student Membership is the ability for the Institute to:
- Assist student's in finding a job within industry relevant to their interest and future career path, and
- Providing technical resources that may assist in research and assignments.
Upon joining the Institute, each student has the ability to provide details of their study, upload their CV and select their key areas of interest. The Institute has a large base of Company Members to whom we can provide student details. The Institute would encourage students to view the list of Institute
Company Members.
Once a Member, students are able to access, online, all of the Institute's publications wihtin the CIA library together with having access to a vast range of technical material offered through the American Concrete Institute's - Manual of Concrete Practice. Student Members also have online access to the Institute's quarterly industry recognised publication -
Concrete In Australia.
