Welcome to the Concrete Institute of Australia

The Concrete Institute of Australia is an independent, not for profit organisation made up of many members who share a common interest in staying at the forefront of concrete technology, design and construction in this country.
Australian Standards Online

The Concrete Institute of Australia is pleased to provide access to Standards Online – a low cost service available to Individual Members of the Institute.

The Institute recognises that its Individual Members generally only need to refer to a standard for their work. To save them the time and expense of maintaining an extensive standards library – especially of standards they may need as a one-off, the CIA has worked with SAI Global to provide this reference only service – which could provide to be invaluable for many of our Individual Members who are self employed consultants, among with many of our other Individual Members who will benefit from the service.

This service has been specially developed to enable Concrete Institute of Australia to provide a comprehensive standards reference service to Individual Members, at a fraction of the cost of the full SAI Global on-line subscription service.

Subscribers to the service can also purchase PDF and hardcopy standards at a discounted rate of 20% off the retail price (this offer excludes already discounted packages such as Reusable Electronic Contracts).

The annual cost to subscribe to this service is $220.00 (Incl. GST).

Joint Membership with the American Concrete Institute (ACI)

Joint CIA-ACI Membership is available to new and existing CIA Individual, Individual Young and Retired Members.

ACI Membership is available through the CIA for the annual fee of $145.00. This represents a significant saving as direct Individual Membership of the ACI is normally US$222.00.

ACI Membership will be valid for 12 months from the date of approval subject to continued Membership of the CIA.

CIA Members who are also existing ACI Members can still take advantage of Joint Membership with ACI providing a non-cash credit that can be used for the purchase of ACI products and services during the first year. Existing ACI Members who take up Joint Membership should contact the ACI for redemption of this credit.
