The Universal Bridging Consortium (UBC) has proposed a 14 km long bridge from South Australia’s mainland over to Kangaroo Island, named the KI Bridge Megaproject, which is already attracting controversy.

Building market analysts/forecasters BIS Oxford Economics has predicted a 23% drop in residential building – the worst since the GFC - will commence in the next two years.

CIMIC, parent company of CPB Contractors, has reported increased revenue and cash-backed profit for the six months to 30 June 2018, with “strong performance continuing during the period” and “substantial growth in all key indicators”. CPB is the preferred contractor for Melbourne’s $1 billion Metro Tunnel works.

Estia House is a three-storey group care home in suburban Sydney built with concrete and splayed brick and a large amount of windows.

Landcom, the NSW Government’s land and property developer, is set to build around 1100 residential units near The Ponds close to Tallawong station, south of Rouse Hill that will be up to eight storeys high. The plan comes ahead of a proposed 11,000 apartments and up to 9000 sqm of office and retail space in 16 buildings.
