Task Group Four - Durability Modelling
Task Group Four will be providing guidance on an approach to durability modelling in reinforced concrete structures. Chloride ingress and carbonation are the two main forms of concrete deterioration for which models have been developed and will be the two main aspects covered in the publication developed.
The aim of the publication will be to consider the current design guides and codes and provide an overview on their limitations and uses to give an approach on how to use them in design of structures in Australia. The publication will also endeavour to fill gaps in the existing design procedures by reference to published papers.
