Overview

Join us for our tour of Boral's Mugga Lane facility.

Lab Tour - See how Boral tests aggregate from their Mugga and Hall Qaurries for AAR, Ph, sizing/grading, denisty, ect.

Quarry Tour - Mugga Quarry operation tour of stockpile zones, pit and benches, primary and secondary crushers, walk around the bottom bench at Mugga Quarry to see the scale of the pit.


Personal Protective Equipment - All guest are required to bring their own PPE, including:

  • Hard Hat
  • Safety Boots
  • Hi-vis Vest
  • Safety Glasses

Our ACT-Sub Branch will be taking you behind the scenes, to explore one of Australia's largest concrete and construction material suppliers. This site visit will feature a laboratory tour, followed by a tour amongst the quarry for an insight into Boral operations. 

Expert staff will share technical knowledge and experience in the field of concrete technology, and the opportunity to gain an insight into innovation and development of high quality concrete.

This tour is suitable for anyone in the construction or materials sector, or if you're curious about the concrete materials process!
