________________________________________________________

AS 3600-2009 has been revised and recently released as AS 3600-2018.

Some important updates have been included particularly in relation to:
  • Shear and Torsion design, including updates in compression shear theory, the interaction of shear and torsion together and clarification of requirements for detailing of flexural reinforcement for shear and torsion.
  • Durability design where a rigorous review was made of the durability information provided in the standard.
The Concrete Institute of Australia Victorian Branch is hosting a technical evening on the 20th November 2018 at the Melbourne City Bowls Club, Flagstaff Gardens.

Join us to hear first-hand information from BD-02 committee members and the Concrete Institute of Australia reference group (AS 3600), with a valuable opportunity to ask questions to the panel in relation to the new AS 3600 Standard.
