Overview

The Perth Link Roads Project is designed to improve safety and efficiency by removing heavy vehicles from the centre of Perth as they travel to and from the northern and north-western ports. This project provides key link roads around the western side of Perth. The project will connect to recently completed Perth to Breadalbane project that was also constructed by VEC Shaw JV. The project is being delivered through a design and construct contract to build a new 4-lane highway (approx. 4.5km) from the South Esk River Bridge, connecting in with Perth to Breadalbane duplication and Illawarra Main Road.
 
Complex civil infrastructure including integral concrete bridges and pre-cast culverts. Site tour to look at construction challenges with for six integral bridges and five reinforced concrete box culverts, including precasting, RE Wall construction and precast beam placement. Partially completed and in-progress works will be viewed in this exciting onsite tour. The tour will also cover bulk earthworks operations and blasting.
