5:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Where

Occidental Hotel
43 York Street , Sydney NSW 2000

Overview

Engineers today have on their desktops computers that are 1000’s of times more powerful than those that serviced entire companies in the recent past, but are we using them to their full potential?

Join us for an informal forum discussion on how we use computing and automation technology today, and how this might change in the future.

The discussion will be started with brief presentations from senior engineers from Arcadis, BG&E, and Reinforced Earth on how computer applications are changing the way they approach the design process, and how this is likely to change in the future, followed by an open forum discussion for all. We are also very pleased to have Keith Brabant, Vice-President of Engineering for Reinforced Earth (USA), available who has vast experience in technical guidance, updating design standards, and developing engineering software.

The evening will be completed with light food drinks and networking, so please join us at the Occidental Hotel to finish off a busy year with an informal event that promises to be both thought provoking and entertaining.
