Overview

Compulsory registration for engineers…What will this mean for engineers and the construction industry?

Demands for the Government to take immediate action followed media coverage of the building issues impacting Opal Towers and Mascot Towers at the end of 2018. This led to calls for the reform of professional standards to prevent such situations happening again in Australia.

The question for engineers is what will those new professional standards look like and will they work?

Come along and join in the discussion with our panel of experts. In particular this event will be a must for any young professionals in the concrete construction industry. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity to network and socialise while enjoying a drink and something to eat at the Chapel Function Room at the Greenwood Hotel. It promises to be a great evening to launch us into 2020. We look forward to seeing you all at the event.
