Our March seminar will focus on significance of High Rise Concrete Buildings with a focus on the use of concrete in design on two prominent buildings in Australia.

Topics

The first of these buildings is at 300 George Street which is a 40 storey plus, 280m tall tower in the heart of Brisbane Quarter. Our presenter will be discussing the concrete details used in design of this high rise building. We will then move on to the Chevron Tower which is a 29 storey tower located at the corner of Barrack Street and the Esplanade at Elizabeth Quay. This building has recently started construction with concrete piling works imminent and presentations will be provided by the both the lead design and engineering manager for the project.
