Overview
Our Gold Coast Concrete Institute’s upcoming seminar highlights the significance of achieving waterproof performance below and above ground in structures.
The Seminar’s presenters include:
- Dr Martin Larisch a highly respected expert on foundations and piling concrete. Martin has worked as a Civil Engineer for some of the leading ground engineering and piling companies in Germany, Australia and New Zealand and has successfully delivered numerous challenging piling, shoring and deep basement projects. In recent years, Martin has been appointed as an independent expert to provide technical and methodology advice for piling and concrete related defects.
- Luke Menefy is a specialist engineer experienced in concrete technology, condition assessment of existing structures, remedial engineering, durability planning, expert witness/forensic investigations and construction stage materials support. Luke has experience across ports/marine, mining, water/wastewater, bridge and building infrastructure areas.
- A representative from Tremco will present from a suppliers point of view how to better address many of the issues regarding waterproofing critical areas of concrete structures.
