Student Membership Application and Renewal Process
All new Student Members must apply using the appropriate form (links above). Your application must include evidence of your current enrolment. Within seven days your application will be assessed and you will either receive a confirmation email that your membership has been approved or we will email you to advise of your ineligibility or request further information.
If an Academic Member is cancelled for any reason future student applicants enrolled at the institution will not be eligible for Free Student Membership however they would be able to take out Paid Student Membership assuming they meet the other eligibility criteria.
Free Student Members at the time of the Academic Membership cancellation will remain valid until the Student Membership falls due for renewal, at which time the Student Member would need to convert to Paid Student Membership (assuming they meet the other eligibility criteria) to remain a Student Member.
If the institution at which a Paid Student Member is enrolled becomes an Academic Member the student will continue to be considered a Paid Student Member and has no entitlement to a refund of the membership fee. They will be eligible to convert to Free Student Membership when their next renewal falls due.
If you have any questions about Student Membership please contact our Membership Services Manager on 02 9955 1744 or [email protected].
