Further assessment of the $5.35 billion Hells Gates Dam proposal for northern Queensland is being planned. The project includes a 2110 GL dam, pumped hydroelectric scheme, solar farm, hydro facility and pipeline from the new dam to the Ross River Dam.

Melbourne developer Beulah International has lodged plans with the Victoria Government for its
