The WA Govt has called for Expressions of Interest for the design and construction of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road (BORR). The $852 million project includes a new four-lane rural freeway-standard road; at least seven interchanges; three bridge river crossings and more.

Researchers at MIT in the US have come up with a new way of manufacturing cement that could eliminate greenhouse gas emissions altogether and potentially make other useful products in the process. The findings have been reported in the PNAS journal.
