This webinar explains how the journey for the concrete design begins from two ends, which are determining the nano-levelproperties and the macro-level engineering properties using indentation scaling relationship technique to connect the two ends.


Detail includes an investigation of nano-mechanical properties of VHSC concrete, mesoscale simulation modelling and validation. Finally, aframework for determining macro-level properties using a multiscale link approach will be presented.

Professor in the Department of Infrastructure Engineering and the Leader of the Advanced Protective Technology of Engineering Structures Group. He was also the Convener of the ARC Research Network for a Secure Australia (RNSA) from 2004 -2011.
Professor Priyan is also the Director of the ARC Centre for Advanced Manufacturing of Prefabricated Housing Research interests
