This webinar will be presented by two leading practitioners in the design of concrete for use in hot weather:

Michael van Koeverden – Director – CQT Services Pty Ltd
Michael is a Past National President of the Concrete Institute of Australia.
A Civil Engineer and Engineers Australia (EA) Chartered Fellow with extensive experience in Concrete, Aggregate and Quarry products. He had approximately 17 years in technical management of concrete and quarry operations for Hymix, Pioneer and Hanson Construction Materials and was also a founding Director of BGE Materials Technology and Engineered Material Solutions engineering consultancies. Michael has worked on numerous infrastructure projects nationally and overseas including bridges, pavements, dams, wharfs, tunnels, rail works, precast operations, coal loading facilities and major projects. Since 2007 Michael has worked as leading consultant and Director in his own practice, CQT Services, specialising in concrete and quarry materials technology, constructability and applications.

Michael Heathwood is the Project Engineering Leader for the Australian Hub of Laing O’Rourke Australia Construction Pty Limited. A civil engineer who has extensive experience in concrete construction on major projects throughout Australia, including pavements, bridges and infrastructure.
