Overview

This study aims to investigate the effect of different fineness and dosages of fly ash on the selected fresh and hardened and durability properties of mortar mixes with different w/b ratios. The flow, compressive strength, strength activity index and drying shrinkage of mortar mixes with two extreme range of strength, with various cement replacement proportions with different fly ashes, are compared with those of cement only mix having identical mix compositions.
