The studied GPA is a lightweight aggregate produced from low calcium (class F) fly ash from an Australian power plant. Mechanical properties including compressive strength, flexural strength, elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio were investigated and compared with the concrete made with crushed basalt coarse aggregate with the same mix composition.
